Making backgrounds using Paint Shop Pro 7
Preset Shapes.
Will also be using the 20/20 program for the tile effect.

In
PSP Click on File, New. Image information is 200 Width,
200 Pixels
Height. White as the background color.
Image type is 16.7 Million Colors.

Click on the Preset Shapes and Toggle Tool
Options Window.
The preset shape that I am using is called Button 001
It comes standard with PSP CD version.

Click close to one of the corners and drag it
to the opposite corner.
You can make it a little smaller if you wish.
Select the Magic Wand and click on the white section.
Click on Selections, than Invert.
Click on Image, than Corp to Selection.
With this image you will Click Image, Copy.
Minimize PSP. Open the 20/20 program.
Click on File, Paste, As New Image.
Click on Image, Muted BackGround.
Slide the slider over to about Opacity 20% Click Apply.
Click Edit, Copy. Close 20/20 without saving it.
Maximize PSP program.
Click Edit, Past, As New Image.
To save click on File, Export, JPEG.
Set compression to value 1. OK. Type in a file name and
save it in your Background folder.
